CLINIC POLICIES
Over the years we have had to implement certain policies to help the clinic run smoothly and better serve patients. We politely ask all patients to respect the following procedures in place at the clinic:
The deposit paid to secure a new patient appointment is non-refundable, as it takes this time out of the diary so this appointment cannot be offered to anyone else.
Please give at least 24 working hours notice (48 hours preferred) for an appointment cancellation so that we may offer an appointment to someone else who is waiting for care. Please note a charge will be made for missed appointments and those cancelled with less than 24 working hours notice. A standard appointment can also rescheduled/ cancelled via the reschedule link in the confirmation email.
We ask for any Monday appointments to be rescheduled at the latest by Friday the week before, this allows time for someone else to book the slot and receive care.
We take the second appointment fee in advance at the point of booking it to reserve the slot.
Appointment duration's vary.
Our online system allows you to reschedule a standard appointment yourselves, but please note patients who repeatedly reschedule short notice or cancel the same appointment may not be re-booked or will be asked to pay upfront for their bookings.
The second visit - verbal report of findings given after the initial consultation must be completed within two months (or sooner dependent on the presentation) of the initial consultation. After this, the time period has been too long and you will need to be reexamined. Usually the second visit is completed shortly after the initial consultation.
Patients who cancel an appointment several times, patients who cancel an appointment last minute, or patients who repeatedly reschedule the same appointment/s will be asked to pay for future appointments in advance and may not be rebooked.
Patients who book an appointment in advance ie several weeks ahead, and then cancel at short notice will be asked to pay for future appointments in advance or may not be re-booked as per clinic policy. We reserve the right to cancel someones appointments in the diary if someone repeatedly cancels or reschedules an appointment (to offer the slot to someone else in need).
We reserve the right to cancel someones appointment if it is in a patients best interest, if care is not suitable for them or if a patient is not following any advice given or any recommendations provided.
Please arrive on time for your appointment, if you are too late to be seen this will count as a missed appointment.
Please note, all outstanding balances with the clinic are to be settled at the appointment.
Administrative fees to be paid in advance for any work required.
We hope to never have to do this but we reserve the right to close the clinic at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances ie illness, emergency, act of god etc.
Male & female patients accepted.
In case of emergency, illness,accident, act of god we reserve the right to close the clinic.
